I think the Crown has the most impressive frontage and interior and as an added bonus Lime Street station is just across the road for swift transit to Manchester and better beer...
Ron, since you have lived so long out of the U.K., I am just curious about accents. In a place like Liverpool, or Folkestone, do people sound different to you? (Or different than they might have 20 years ago?). Do locals there ever comment on your speech?
