Make your birthday special - by brewing a beer originally made on that date.
For a mere 25 euros, I'll create a bespoke recipe for any day of the year you like. As well as the recipe, there's a few hundred words of text describing the beer and its historical context and an image of the original brewing record.

Great wall! Is that the parents. I have a picture of my dad that looks very similar.
Is it just me or is that "Beer is Best" poster ever so slightly homoerotic?
Nice photos. Grandparents? By the way I received 'Porter' yesterday and I'm finding it makes a lousy doorstop. The cover is much too slippery. But the contents are great, look forward to comparing recipes.
Mentaldental, yes and yes. Those blond, strapping youths are also a bit reminiscent of nazi posters.
First Stater, hope you enjoy the book. I've tried to make it as ridiculously detailed as possible.
Mentaldental, I've long felt the same about that poster: it's the leather straps around the nearest one's trousers that don't help (supposedly to stop rats running up your legs as you wielded the scythe during harvest-time, I believe.)
Trivia: the typeface on those posters is Cooper Black, which is a nicely beery name (Cooper is a mixture of porter and stout).
