no. Mostly because I'd not heard of it until now. How does it work?

Facebook Live works best on your smart phone. Log in on the Facebook app and at the bottom of where you would normally type in a new status update, click the icon that says "Live". You can then use your phone's camera to stream live to your Facebook page. It's usually a good idea to advertise the fact ahead of time...'hey, I'll be streaming live this weekend...' etc. etc.
