Colditz
Not just a prison castle. Also home to one of my favourite labels. One I like so much, I have it on my tea mug.
Apologies for this obvious filler post. I planned something about Barclay Perkins beers in 1935. Then fucking Office started playing up. The IT help desk (Dolores) is busy with other tasks. No time to help me until tomorrow. I hope it doesn't disappoint you too much. Details of watery Milds must make your Monday mornings. They certainly do mine.
But at least you've some pretty things to look at. Some lovely DDR labels. Especially the last one, Schwarze Sau. I love that label so much.
Back to the normal heavy history shit tomorrow. Assuming Dolores can get Office to work.
Interesting that the English-language Pilsner label claims that the beer was brewed to the Reinheitsgebot.
