What is Danziger Jopenbier?

 I take a look at one of the world's weirdest beer styles, Danziger Jopenbier. I beer so thick and treacly that you could barely drink it

The PG4 brewpub in Gdansk is brewing Jopenbier again.

By the time the first world war came around pretty much all the Jopenbier production was going to England (it was already in steep decline before the war) and it was effectively killed off by losing its main market.
