Make your birthday special - by brewing a beer originally made on that date.
For a mere 25 euros, I'll create a bespoke recipe for any day of the year you like. As well as the recipe, there's a few hundred words of text describing the beer and its historical context and an image of the original brewing record.

Nice pics. (Get any questions from the people next to you?).

How did you solve the old no glass issue?
Looks like a South Eastern.
Chunk.
Neither of those are bottle-conditioned, so can be drunk out of the bottle.
Gary, the train was surprisingly considering it left Liverpool Street around 5 PM.
Yes, I drank from the bottle. Needing must and all that.
I omitted the own-brand bottle of whiskey from the photo.
Chunk, no glass - see my last comment.
Yes. South Eastern. Run down, slightly grubby carriages. British railways at their best.
Ron, perhaps just as well, since it might take a while to explain Guinness FES to a non-initiate, or Guinness for that matter.
By the way, a clerk in a U.S. liquor store told me recently Guinness FES will be released soon in the U.S., and I hope Canada. It's about time. Hopefully this will be the Irish-brewed one, I find that is consistently the best.

I do like dragon stout, but its been a while since i had some
Gary, FES, brewed in Ireland, is already out in the US but, according to industry reports on Diageo, only in "test markets" of NYC and Atlantic. Folks have seen it in NYC, from what I've read.
Here's the TTB approval label reproduction

Thanks for that, Jess, great news. This could sell very well for them if the traditional character is maintained.

FYI- that was a mistype above when I wrote the test markets for the FES were "NYC and Atlantic" - it should be "Atlanta" - as in Georgia, rather than the Atlantic coast or Atlantic City or even the ocean, for that matter...
