Brew Brittania
Boak & Bailey's book will be hitting the shops soon. I'm really looking forward to it. Based on the stuff that's been leaking out onto their blog, it looks like being a very useful and well-researched modern history of British beer.
They certainly have been going to the right sources. The Pub and the People, for example. Properly-researched history is what beer needs. It's an area that, brewery histories aside, has been badly neglected.
