A suggestion

I often wonder if anyone likes my travel reports, they get so few comments.

Should you be entertained by my blow-by-blow accounts of every drink I had on my last US trip, at least like the post. Just so I've some effing idea of how much worth the effort it is.

Either of these books is a good background text. This has the recipes I supplied to the Lager Festival:

While this one is based around the talk I gave on British Lager:

Buy one, buy both. Buy ten extra copies to give to your friends.

I like the travel reports better than the other shite with all the numbers. Hope that helps.

I enjoy the travel posts. Nice mixed in with your other postings. My father is the only other person I know who had the toilet trouble you described. My brothers and I had a great laugh on that one. Keep them coming. Impressions of place and pubs more interesting than a litany of beers though. I prefer your European adventures over the US ones, but that is my interest.

Where do you prefer your 'like's, Twitter or FB? There's no facility for them here that I can see.

I always enjoy the travel reports. I rarely comment on anything, but if Blogger had a Like/Thumbs-up button I'd hit it every time.

So, since I commented when I almost never comment, take it as a sign your reports are appreciated!

I am delighted by every travel post. I have no idea why. I have traveled a bit with you three times. Is that it? Maybe it's because I know where to add in the additional sweary words.

I love the travel reports, especially the European ones because I know a lot less about the places you visit there. Even better are the ones with Dolores. And the ones with the whole family are best of all (I seem to recall one or two of those).

Ron, I love your travel posts! It allows me to see things and "visit" places I may never get the opportunity to visit. Thanks for a great blog! Cheers!

Oh yeah, they're great. If you'd post a bit about what you chat with the brewers, that would be fun, but you do you.

Re the toilet problem - Charles Mingus complained about this in his 1971 autobiography Beneath the Underdog - the memory of his harrowing description has stayed with me over the years.

IMO travel reports are only interesting if
you've been there yourself
your planning to go there soon
you know the writer

small audience i reckon
just my opinion though

I enjoy the travelogues. Keep it up. As an American that hasn't been to the areas you're currently at, I also find it interesting to hear your expatriate point of view.

I like the travel reports a lot since most of them are from places I'll possibly never visit...So keep on! They are quite funny...actually really funny... I though the same of the level of water when I traveled to USA and actually a roll egg without bacon is a sad breakfast...But asking for a double in the airport, you knew It wouldn't be cheap hahaha.
Keep on writting please.

Your travel reports are awesome. I shy away from social media, especially Facebook, so I have no means to give them a like.

Keep the travel blogs coming, love them. Like to see how much you drink as well. Don't do Facebook.
