Next week in San Diego

Not sure I've mentioned this yet. I'll be in San Diego for three days next week. From Wednesday 10th to Friday 12th June.

You may be aware that this coincides with the NHC (National Homebrewers Conference). I won't be at the NHC this year. But I will be talking. About Lager, of all things.

Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th June at 19:30 is when, the Coronado Brewing Taproom (not the brewpub on Coronado Island) is where. On the Wednesday I'll be giving a formal talk on early Dutch Lager styles. On the Thursday it will be more informal and you'll have a chance to interact with me as jump randomly around Lager history based themes.

To accompany the talks there will be three historic Lagers: Stone Liberty Station 1991 Dutch Beiersch, Coronado 1911 Dutch Bok and ChuckAlek 1870 Bohemian Summer Beer.

It should be lots of fun. Come along, if you're in town.I'm always delighted to talk to anyone bearing beer.

Ah man, I keep missing your visits to San Diego.

I will have to catch you next time when you visit. I am opening in North San Diego in Carlsbad. I have been a regular follower of this blog, it is amazing. My background in economics and data analysis gets excited with your data sets. I will be using your recipes as references for many of my brews.

I will keep following. I regularly visit Europe (my moms a flight attendant for American, airfare is laughably cheap) and hope to find myself in that utopia that is Amsterdam again sometime next year.
