British Stouts in the 1950's
Still not finished with "Dry Stout". Today I'm taking a look at some British Stouts in the 1950's.
The selection of beers for inclusion in the table wasn't random. I've just picked out beers with an apparent attenuation of more than 80%.
As you can see, there are examples from all over the country. Some have a very similar profile to Guinness, Mitchell & Butler's Extra Stout, for example.
