Not totally back to normal, but well on my way. I'm now just coughing like a chain smoker. A course of antibiotics and some steroids really helped. And lots of rest.
I need to get my strength back. As I'm off to Australia in three weeks. With Andrew. Wish me luck.
That’s great news Ron, very glad to hear it, someone posted yesterday about the pneumonia vaccine, I don’t know much about it, but that sounds like a good idea. Please don’t force yourself to go to Australia if you’re not ready.

ReplyDeleteWhen one reaches a certain age it's a good idea to get a pneumococcal vaccination, every four or five years. Doesn't stop you getting colds but protects you from the real nasty strains and from meningitis.
