There are fewer foreign hops in this set, being limited to six American and two Bavarian. It is notable that Truman 40/- contained 100% American hops. They may have been extensively used, but it was rare to see a beer that had nothing but American hops.

Do you have price data on these? I'd be very curious to know if the Truman was cheaper/more expensive than comparable beers at the time.
