Labels I've recently extracted. Doesn't mean I drank the beer that recently.
As Dolores will atest: "When are you going to get rid of those bottles?"
"Soon."
Soon was yesterday. When I put them in to soak.
Pretty random set, not all representative of what I usually drink. Which is almost 100% Abt.
I do like a Manchester Star. Having drunk through my stash in descending strength order recently I can confirm that it's not as good as Old Tom, but it's very close. Streets ahead of what Marston's are calling Owd Roger these days, sadly.
ReplyDeleteThat Kozel dark label is absolutely wonderful.
ReplyDeleteOBALADARA AUSM LEINLEIDERDAL!!
ReplyDeleteDo you remember how you liked that one?
I love it.......though it is pretty rough and unique.
Elektrolurch,
ReplyDeletetoo long ago to remember, I'm afraid.
I love looking at all those old labels. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteStopped for a beer at Brauerei Ott on one of my recent hiking trips to Franconia
ReplyDeleteOooh! That Big Black Beaver one really qualifies for the Pumpclip Parade. Not just sexist and with clunking wordplay, also with added racism!
