I have 21 friends

I have 21 friends. That's what Facebook tells me. You have 21 friends. What should I make of that?

Scary stuff. Even scarier because I don't even know who all my 21 friends are. I've seen their details. All 21 of them. A few of the names, I don't recognise. But I don't want to appear unpopular or snobbish; I accept all friend requests.

Counting friends. It's a funny concept. Almost as sad as collecting beers. But, hang on. I do that. Must be cool.
