I have been searching on streetview...Where is this? I have been searching on streetview for a Prague pub I stumbled into back around 1993. It was as old-school, unchanged East Bloc as you could get, and the Urquell flowed very freely, with the Wirt bringing us fresh half-liters before we'd made it though half of our previous ones. Drank about 7 beers each in the span of 3 hours. When we got the bill: US$6 or so. Oh well.<br /><br />Then perhaps you are just disappointed that the charming old pubs with a local brew advertised are being taken over by the muscular Urquell operation and somewhat standarised in the process.<br /><br />Speaking of Czech beer, or sorry, Slovak, I just had a Golden Pheasant in Ontario that was just two months from packaging date.
